Analysis & Testing Equipment

Plastic is typically non-magnetic. Plastic bearings are widely used in inspection equipment and measuring instruments. Inspection devices often require non-magnetic materials to avoid malfunctions.

For example, MRI (Magnetic Resonance Imaging) is a diagnostic device that utilizes powerful magnets to capture cross-sectional images within the body. In such devices, magnetic materials are not allowed in the components, including the bearings. Although not visible to the naked eye, plastic bearings, ceramic bearings, and other non-magnetic components are used in the areas responsible for transporting the MRI bed.

Additionally, plastic bearings offer a lower coefficient of friction compared to metal bearings due to the absence of lubricants. They are used in applications such as inspection equipment and measuring instruments, where low friction and the ability to rotate with minimal effort are crucial.
