Plastic Bearings for Transporting Hoop Materials (Coil Materials)

This product is a specially shaped bearing with a flat groove on the outer diameter and an extended inner ring on one side. The groove shape can be custom-made to match the transported material. Can be used without collars when multiple bearings are installed in parallel. Excellent chemical resistance allows usage even in highly corrosive chemical solutions. The outer diameter section features a flat groove, enabling a custom-made design tailored to the size of thin metal sheets (hoop materials). This flat groove ensures precise guidance of the transported material, preventing scratches and damage. In addition to thin metal sheets (hoop materials), various groove shapes such as V-grooves and R-grooves can[…..]

Self-aligning Plastic Bearings for Film Sheet Transport Rollers (Dual-layer Structure)

These are self-aligning bearings used for transporting film sheets. Since the rollers are fully submerged in liquid, there was an inquiry regarding whether it would be possible to use bearings made of materials with chemical resistance, such as plastic or ceramic. The layout of the transport line can be imagined as follows: Initially, the design called for radial bearings, but because the film sheet’s tension could cause slight bending in the rollers, we proposed self-aligning bearings to ensure proper alignment even when deflection occurs. However, standard self-aligning bearings exceeded the permissible load, so we enhanced load-bearing capacity with the dual-layer structure shown in the image. In film sheet transport lines[…..]

UKB Pillow Block with Vertical Grooved Bushing (Countermeasures for Foreign Particles and Wear Debris in Underwater, Liquid, and Dry Environments)

Case Example of Vertical Grooves Processed in Bushings Used for Pillow Blocks Our pillow blocks come standard as a set of three components: the housing, bushing, and sleeve. The use of vertical grooves is beneficial for the following purposes: preventing foreign material intrusion, serving as a passage for liquids, and managing wear debris. [Foreign Material Prevention] In environments where there is a risk of foreign materials like dust intruding, such materials can enter the sliding parts, leading to rotational failure or reduced lifespan. In such environments, applying vertical grooves can help expel foreign materials, ensuring they do not obstruct rotation. [Use as a Liquid Passage] Environments involving liquids such as[…..]

Bushing with Inner Grooves (Spiral Grooves)

This is a product with spiral grooves on the inner diameter of the bushing. There are various applications: Wear Debris Countermeasures:When the shaft and resin bush slide against each other, wear debris is generated and can be expelled through these grooves. Minimal wear debris is produced under light loads, but significant loads invariably generate wear debris. Although these grooves cannot expel all wear debris, they contribute to longer service life compared to bushings without grooves. Foreign Matter Countermeasures:In certain environments, foreign matter may enter the system. If this matter enters the gap between the shaft and the sliding bearing, it can cause damage and rotation failure. The grooves aim to[…..]

Large Diameter Plastic Ball Bearings (φ200 and above)

This is an example of our large diameter bearing. The photo shows a 6838 bearing (φ240×φ190×24L). This bearing is intended for use in a project involving a generator that utilizes water flow. Given that it will be used underwater, the customer is considering plastic materials and was searching for a manufacturer of large diameter bearings. We provided this bearing in response to their request to try out a few samples for testing purposes. We manufacture bearings through machining, so we can provide bearings in uncommon specifications starting from single units. We have experience in manufacturing and delivering bearings with an outer diameter of φ270 in non-standard dimensions. Additionally, our bearings[…..]

Pillow Block Bearings for Conveyor Rollers in a Sludge Treatment Plant

Our special pillow block bearings were used for the conveyor rollers in the sludge treatment plant. Originally, there was a consideration to extend the lifespan because the previously used pillow block bearings were worn out by sludge. To prevent sludge from remaining in the sliding area, we made special holes along the outer diameter of the bushing to the inner diameter and milled spirals into the inner diameter. These holes serve to allow the sludge that accumulates in the inner diameter to flow through and help extend the lifespan by enabling a water solution. In fact, tests with this specification showed that wear was significantly reduced compared to before. As[…..]

Plastic Bearings in a Process for Surface Treatment of Thin Sheets

Our Self-aligning ball bearings were used in a process for surface treatment of copper sheets. Two rollers are suspended vertically, and the copper plate passes through the process by running between the rollers and being chrome-plated. Bearings were used at the top of these rollers. As the copper plate passes, the rollers tend to tilt and shift, hence a self-aligning function is required. Additionally, the rollers bear vertical loads, imposing additional requirements on the bearings. Therefore, we proposed our self-aligning ball bearings, which can accommodate this axial load. It is a special form not available in standard specifications, but we can manufacture it through CNC machining. Our company specializes in[…..]

Plastic Bearings for Extremely Cold Environments

Our bearings were used for the ice cream production line. Due to the manufacturing of ice cream in extremely cold environments and the use of cleaning agents during the cleaning process, a transition to plastic was considered. Because of the extremely low temperatures, we recommended the use of PTFE from our side. PTFE is a material that can be used even in extremely low temperatures of up to -268°C. However, it should be noted that dimensional changes occur significantly at temperatures. Therefore, it is important to consider the change in dimensions when used in high or low temperatures. Furthermore, we also offer materials that have been enhanced with fillers to[…..]

Double-Row Plastic Bearings

These bearings are used in a thread feeding line. Initially, a plastic bearing of type 6002 was used, but it could not withstand the load and led to rotational errors. Without changing the size of φ32×φ15×9L, the specification was changed from a single row to a double row, and by adding more balls, a higher load could be accommodated. In addition, by switching to an angular contact structure internally, a certain amount of axial load was also made possible. Depending on the size, it is possible to manufacture bearings with such internal specification changes. Non-Magnetic and Insulating Bearings That Do Not React to Metal Detectors

Our plastic bearings can be used near metal detectors. To ensure that there are no metal contaminants present, we do not use metallic bearings in such locations, as they can react to metal detectors and lead to inaccurate results. Metal is detected through methods such as electrical conductivity or magnetic reaction, but plastic is generally an insulator and non-magnetic, making it useful in such specialized environments. However, some plastics can accumulate static electricity due to their insulation. Since this electrostatic charge can sometimes interfere with equipment, we recommend using bearings made of antistatic plastic in such cases. Depending on requirements, we offer solutions with various materials. Please contact us if[…..]
