Large Diameter Plastic Ball Bearings (φ200 and above)

This is an example of our large diameter bearing. The photo shows a 6838 bearing (φ240×φ190×24L). This bearing is intended for use in a project involving a generator that utilizes water flow. Given that it will be used underwater, the customer is considering plastic materials and was searching for a manufacturer of large diameter bearings. We provided this bearing in response to their request to try out a few samples for testing purposes. We manufacture bearings through machining, so we can provide bearings in uncommon specifications starting from single units. Cam Follower Bearing Made Entirely of Plastic

This product was developed in response to the request, “Can cam followers be made of plastic?” The desire was to use plastic because metal parts could potentially cause malfunctions in a testing device. Integrating the bearing and screw reduces the number of parts and simplifies replacement. Additionally, due to the plastic material, there is no risk of damaging the workpiece. The illustrated screw sizes are M4 and M10, but manufacturing is possible regardless of the standard. Within the testing device, it is used as a guide rail for positioning as well as a transport roller over which the workpiece rolls to the next processing stage. Ready-to-Install Plastic Bearing Guide Roller for the Galvanizing Plant

One of our customers has used our bearings in their galvanizing plant for wire material. Previously, this customer had used plastic plain bearings, but they frequently encountered issues such as high rotational resistance, damage, and wire breakage. After reviewing the operating conditions and shapes, we designed a roller shape that is tailored to the wire. Additionally, we combined various plastic materials for the outer ring, inner ring, and cage, and proposed a roller bearing with an integrated ball bearing. As a result, there were no concerns about the penetration of the galvanizing solution, and the need for frequent maintenance was eliminated.
