Plastic Bearings in a Process for Surface Treatment of Thin Sheets

Our Self-aligning ball bearings were used in a process for surface treatment of copper sheets. Two rollers are suspended vertically, and the copper plate passes through the process by running between the rollers and being chrome-plated. Bearings were used at the top of these rollers. As the copper plate passes, the rollers tend to tilt and shift, hence a self-aligning function is required. Additionally, the rollers bear vertical loads, imposing additional requirements on the bearings. Therefore, we proposed our self-aligning ball bearings, which can accommodate this axial load. It is a special form not available in standard specifications, but we can manufacture it through CNC machining. Our company specializes in[…..]

Plastic Bearings for Extremely Cold Environments

Our bearings were used for the ice cream production line. Due to the manufacturing of ice cream in extremely cold environments and the use of cleaning agents during the cleaning process, a transition to plastic was considered. Because of the extremely low temperatures, we recommended the use of PTFE from our side. PTFE is a material that can be used even in extremely low temperatures of up to -268°C. However, it should be noted that dimensional changes occur significantly at temperatures. Therefore, it is important to consider the change in dimensions when used in high or low temperatures. Furthermore, we also offer materials that have been enhanced with fillers to[…..]

Plastic Slide Bearings in a Chemical Environment

Our plastic slide bearings were used for the monitoring camera in a manufacturing process. While the manufacturing facility is in operation, the camera extends, and when the line stops, the camera retracts. Our slide bearings were used for this extension and retraction mechanism. Since this manufacturing process takes place in an environment with chemical solutions, a metallic solution would corrode quickly. Therefore, our customer considered using plastic. We suggested PEEK slide bearings from our product range. Since the shaft is made of stainless steel, we used ceramic balls. Ready-to-Install Plastic Bearing Guide Roller for the Galvanizing Plant

One of our customers has used our bearings in their galvanizing plant for wire material. Previously, this customer had used plastic plain bearings, but they frequently encountered issues such as high rotational resistance, damage, and wire breakage. After reviewing the operating conditions and shapes, we designed a roller shape that is tailored to the wire. Additionally, we combined various plastic materials for the outer ring, inner ring, and cage, and proposed a roller bearing with an integrated ball bearing. As a result, there were no concerns about the penetration of the galvanizing solution, and the need for frequent maintenance was eliminated. Downtimes due to wire breakages and quality issues caused[…..]

Plastic Axial Bearings for Food Manufacturing (Processing) Equipment

Hygienic because no grease is used. Resistant to disinfectants, cleaning agents, and high temperatures, does not rust or corrode. Plastic bearings for food manufacturing facilities. Plastic axial bearings for food manufacturing (processing) equipment Typically, metal bearings are used in food manufacturing machines, which are protected from direct contact with moisture or steam by seals. Even if the bearings have a sealing structure, moisture can penetrate over time and grease can leak out. With a plastic axial bearing, the need for grease is eliminated, and it is corrosion-resistant. Therefore, there are no concerns about grease or rust getting into the food. It can be used in environments with cleaning solutions (such[…..]

Plastic Bearings for Fan Rotation in a Stirring Device

In a tank with a highly acidic atmosphere, we use plastic bearings for the fan bearings. The fan runs continuously to maintain a uniform atmosphere in the tank. However, traditional bearings quickly corrode in such conditions. Therefore, we recommend using plastics with acid resistance and also incorporate balls made from acid-resistant ceramics to ensure the bearings withstand the conditions. Plastic Bearings for UV (Ultraviolet) Environments

Typically, exposure to UV light causes a phenomenon known as UV degradation in standard plastics, which impairs their performance as ball bearings. In such environments, we select special materials suitable for your application.
