This product was developed in response to the request, “Can cam followers be made of plastic?” The desire was to use plastic because metal parts could potentially cause malfunctions in a testing device.
Integrating the bearing and screw reduces the number of parts and simplifies replacement. Additionally, due to the plastic material, there is no risk of damaging the workpiece.
The illustrated screw sizes are M4 and M10, but manufacturing is possible regardless of the standard.
Within the testing device, it is used as a guide rail for positioning as well as a transport roller over which the workpiece rolls to the next processing stage.
