Non-magnetic and insulating bearings that do not react to metal detectors

Our plastic bearings can be used near metal detectors.

To ensure that there are no metal contaminants present, we do not use metallic bearings in such locations, as they can react to metal detectors and lead to inaccurate results.

Metal is detected through methods such as electrical conductivity or magnetic reaction, but plastic is generally an insulator and non-magnetic, making it useful in such specialized environments.

However, some plastics can accumulate static electricity due to their insulation.

Since this electrostatic charge can sometimes interfere with equipment, we recommend using bearings made of antistatic plastic in such cases.
