Plastic Bearings for Cleaning with Hydrofluoric Acid

This is a plastic bearing that can be used for hydrofluoric acid cleaning of semiconductors and LCDs. We are the only company in Japan that manufactures ball bearings from PCTFE (Polychlorotrifluoroethylene).

Plastic Bearings for Cleaning with Hydrofluoric AcidPlastic Bearings for Cleaning with Hydrofluoric Acid

Our bearings have a specification of PCTFE (Poly Chloro Tri Fluoro Ethylene) for the main body and SiC (Silicon Carbide) for the balls. Hydrofluoric acid, used in the cleaning of semiconductors and LCDs, corrodes many metals, plastics, and ceramics. We manufacture PCTFE bearings that are resistant to hydrofluoric acid.

PCTFE: Poly Chloro Tri Fluoro Ethylene (Polychlorotrifluoroethylene) is a hard plastic that has proven to be particularly resistant to hydrofluoric acid.

Depending on the operating conditions, other materials may also be suitable for hydrofluoric acid resistance. Please let us know your operating conditions so that we can offer you the optimal solutions.

We offer not only deep groove ball bearings but also angular contact, thrust ball bearings, and other special forms. Please do not hesitate to contact us.

●Main Applications:
・ Semiconductor cleaning line
・ LCD cleaning line
・ Environments where hydrofluoric acid (hydrogen fluoride) is used
