Our bearings were used for the ice cream production line.
Due to the manufacturing of ice cream in extremely cold environments and the use of cleaning agents during the cleaning process, a transition to plastic was considered. Because of the extremely low temperatures, we recommended the use of PTFE from our side.
PTFE is a material that can be used even in extremely low temperatures of up to -268°C. However, it should be noted that dimensional changes occur significantly at temperatures. Therefore, it is important to consider the change in dimensions when used in high or low temperatures.
Furthermore, we also offer materials that have been enhanced with fillers to improve sliding properties and strength.
The PTFE shown in the photo is black colored due to the addition of carbon and exhibits excellent abrasion resistance.
