Our plastic bearings were utilized for the ampoule cleaning process. Initially, two miniature plastic bearings from other manufacturers were used to avoid the wear of metal powder. However, wear problems also arose with the plastic bearings, leading to difficulties. One of the reasons was the strength of the plastic material, but the fact that they were standard products also led to dimensional interference and accelerated wear.
Therefore, we proposed using PEEK bearings with a multi-row configuration tailored to the device’s dimensions, which resolved the issue. In our case, the multi-row configuration that combines both bearings is more cost-effective than using two separate bearings.
