One of our customers has used our bearings in their galvanizing plant for wire material. Previously, this customer had used plastic plain bearings, but they frequently encountered issues such as high rotational resistance, damage, and wire breakage.
After reviewing the operating conditions and shapes, we designed a roller shape that is tailored to the wire. Additionally, we combined various plastic materials for the outer ring, inner ring, and cage, and proposed a roller bearing with an integrated ball bearing.
As a result, there were no concerns about the penetration of the galvanizing solution, and the need for frequent maintenance was eliminated. Downtimes due to wire breakages and quality issues caused by wire damage are a thing of the past, leading to an improvement in production performance.
