Plastic Bearings for Transporting Hoop Materials (Coil Materials)

This product is a specially shaped bearing with a flat groove on the outer diameter and an extended inner ring on one side. The groove shape can be custom-made to match the transported material. Can be used without collars when multiple bearings are installed in parallel. Excellent chemical resistance allows usage even in highly corrosive chemical solutions. The outer diameter section features a flat groove, enabling a custom-made design tailored to the size of thin metal sheets (hoop materials). This flat groove ensures precise guidance of the transported material, preventing scratches and damage. In addition to thin metal sheets (hoop materials), various groove shapes such as V-grooves and R-grooves can[…..]

UKB Pillow Block with Vertical Grooved Bushing (Countermeasures for Foreign Particles and Wear Debris in Underwater, Liquid, and Dry Environments)

Case Example of Vertical Grooves Processed in Bushings Used for Pillow Blocks Our pillow blocks come standard as a set of three components: the housing, bushing, and sleeve. The use of vertical grooves is beneficial for the following purposes: preventing foreign material intrusion, serving as a passage for liquids, and managing wear debris. [Foreign Material Prevention] In environments where there is a risk of foreign materials like dust intruding, such materials can enter the sliding parts, leading to rotational failure or reduced lifespan. In such environments, applying vertical grooves can help expel foreign materials, ensuring they do not obstruct rotation. [Use as a Liquid Passage] Environments involving liquids such as[…..]

Large Diameter Plastic Ball Bearings (φ200 and above)

This is an example of our large diameter bearing. The photo shows a 6838 bearing (φ240×φ190×24L). This bearing is intended for use in a project involving a generator that utilizes water flow. Given that it will be used underwater, the customer is considering plastic materials and was searching for a manufacturer of large diameter bearings. We provided this bearing in response to their request to try out a few samples for testing purposes. We manufacture bearings through machining, so we can provide bearings in uncommon specifications starting from single units. We have experience in manufacturing and delivering bearings with an outer diameter of φ270 in non-standard dimensions. Additionally, our bearings[…..]

Pillow Block Bearings for Conveyor Rollers in a Sludge Treatment Plant

Our special pillow block bearings were used for the conveyor rollers in the sludge treatment plant. Originally, there was a consideration to extend the lifespan because the previously used pillow block bearings were worn out by sludge. To prevent sludge from remaining in the sliding area, we made special holes along the outer diameter of the bushing to the inner diameter and milled spirals into the inner diameter. These holes serve to allow the sludge that accumulates in the inner diameter to flow through and help extend the lifespan by enabling a water solution. In fact, tests with this specification showed that wear was significantly reduced compared to before. As[…..]

Double-Row Plastic Bearings

These bearings are used in a thread feeding line. Initially, a plastic bearing of type 6002 was used, but it could not withstand the load and led to rotational errors. Without changing the size of φ32×φ15×9L, the specification was changed from a single row to a double row, and by adding more balls, a higher load could be accommodated. In addition, by switching to an angular contact structure internally, a certain amount of axial load was also made possible. Depending on the size, it is possible to manufacture bearings with such internal specification changes. Plastic Guide Bearings for the Cleaning and Transportation of Retort Packages

Our plastic bearings have been used in the process of cleaning and drying retort packages. Originally, metal bearings with a plastic coating were used. The production line for retort packages here uses tap water for cleaning and goes through a drying oven process. Due to the use of water, metal bearings face the problem of grease being washed out and rust formation. Furthermore, tap water contains calcium carbonate, so when passing through the drying oven after cleaning while still wet, calcium carbonate adheres inside the bearing, leading to faulty rotation. Therefore, we proposed the use of UHMWPE, which is non-sticky, and designed the shape of the bearings to be easy[…..]

Plastic Thrust Bearings in the Waterbed

Our plastic thrust bearings were used in a waterbed with a massage function. The waterbed is rotated by the force of the water jet, creating a spiral water flow that is used for the massage. The bearings are used in the nozzles. Since it is used exclusively underwater, this environment is very suitable for plastic bearings. Water acts as a substitute for lubricant and helps dissipate the heat generated by rotation. Therefore, a longer lifespan can be expected compared to use in dry environments. Plastic Bearings for Glass Cleaning Lines

Our bearings were used on conveyor belts for glass products. The use of metal bearings when cleaning ground glass results in water contamination due to lubricating grease. Worse yet, glass particles reduce bearing lubrication, leading to increased wear on the bearings and higher production downtime. To eliminate the problem, we offered our plastic bearings. The bearing dimensions are designed according to the current machine equipment to avoid design changes to the machines. Future design changes, such as longer shafts, are also individually accommodated by us. In the specific example, a self-aligning ball bearing was used. This allowed us to ensure maximum flexibility of the shaft. Thus, changes in shaft length[…..]

Full Ball Type Plastic Ball Bearings Without Cages

Full-ball plastic ball bearings without a cage do not have a cage. Therefore, these bearings are used in dirty water, as contaminants do not remain in the cage. For example, they are used in a coating tank. Full Ball Type Plastic Ball bearings without Cages Usually, deep groove ball bearings have cages to retain the balls. However, in cases where they are used in chemical environments or in water with impurities, deep groove ball bearings sometimes fail because the impurities remain in the cage. Also, metal bearings cannot be used in coating tanks. But our bearings can be used in coating tanks because they do not get coated. They are[…..]

Spherical Plain Bearing (Plastic Spherical Plain Bearing)

A self-aligning plain bearing that can also be used in places without a core where the core cannot be removed. Plastic Spherical Plain Bearing Spherical Plain Bearing with Stainless Steel Housing Spherical plain bearings are self-aligning bearings, particularly suitable when the shaft is long and easily deformable or when it is difficult to remove the core on the left and right sides. The size can be adjusted to various dimensions depending on the usage situation, allowing them to be used even in tight spaces where mounting a pillow block is difficult. Being made of plastic, there is no concern about rust, even in water or chemical substances. Additionally, they are[…..]
